Lead Lists · India + worldwide · ₹ and $
Every business in your district, with a number to ring.
Name, phone, email, address, category and map coordinates — filtered by trade, by town, by whichever channel you actually work. Call them, message them, drive to them, or use the counts to decide where your ads point. Built from open licensed map data, so unlike every scraped list on the internet, this one is legally yours to use, and to resell.
Kollam district, checked against the 19 August 2026 release: 19,531 businesses · 14,686 with a phone · 8,108 with an email
The filter is the product
A list of everyone is not a lead list.
Every business in a city is a directory, and a directory wastes your week. What makes a row worth your time depends entirely on what you're selling — so you pick the cut, and that's the file you get. Combine as many of these as you like.
Trade
Salons, clinics, hardware, gyms, hotels — any category present in the area
Area
A city, a district, a taluk, or a bounding box you draw yourself
Contact channel
Has a phone, has an email, has a social page — or all three
Web presence
Has a website, or doesn't. Either way round, depending on what you sell
Confidence
How certain the source is the business is real and still trading
Newly opened
Appeared since last month's data release — nobody has called them yet
What people use it for
Six businesses, six different reasons.
We built this to find shops that needed a website. That turned out to be the narrowest use of it.
Calling and WhatsApp outreach
The obvious one. A phone number, a business name and a trade is everything a caller needs. Sort by area so a day's calls stay in one town.
Planning where the ad money goes
Before you set a radius or a budget, it helps to know there are 162 salons in this district and 41 in that taluk. Category-by-area counts turn targeting from a guess into arithmetic.
Field sales and route planning
Every row carries latitude and longitude, so a rep's day can be built as a route instead of a list. Twelve visits in one direction beats twelve scattered across the district.
Distributor and retailer recruitment
If you supply a product, this is the map of everyone who could stock it — every medical store, every hardware shop, every supermarket in a district, with a number to ring.
Agencies working on behalf of clients
Buy the district once, work it for whichever client needs it. The licence permits resale, so passing the file to your own client is allowed rather than tolerated.
Anyone selling to businesses at all
Insurance, accounting, POS machines, uniforms, pest control, signage, software, staffing. The list doesn't care what you sell — the filters do the narrowing.
Plans
Priced per list, not per seat.
Pay in rupees or dollars. We run the count for your area first and tell you the real number, so you know what you're buying before you buy it.

What actually arrives
Four real rows, so you can judge it yourself.
One example cut — hair and beauty shops in Kollam district with a phone number. Yours would be whatever trade and filters you ask for. Last four digits cut here, because these are real businesses and this is a public page. Your file has them in full.

Why buy it from an engineering studio
The hard part was never the download.
Anyone can hand you rows. The work is knowing which source you're allowed to sell, which filter fits the offer, and how to make a file open cleanly in Malayalam on a Windows laptop.
Licensed data, not scraped data
Ours comes from the Overture Maps open dataset and Foursquare Open Source Places, released under CDLA-Permissive-2.0 and Apache-2.0. Both permit commercial use and resale. Every delivery ships with the attribution file that makes your use of it compliant.
Why that matters more than it sounds
Most sellers of this data pull it off Google Maps. Google's platform terms explicitly ban saving business names and addresses outside their services. A list built that way is one complaint away from being unusable, and it was never legally yours to resell.
The filter is the product
Anyone can hand you every business in a city, and a directory wastes your week. Tell us what makes a row worth your time — the trade, the town, whether they can be emailed, whether they already have what you're selling — and that is the file you get.
Three channels, not one
Phone on most records, email on a large share, a Facebook or Instagram page on many. In Kollam district that's 14,686 with a number and 8,108 with an email. Which channel you use changes what converts, so we ship all of them.
We run our own outreach off this
This is the same pipeline IndusLabs uses to find who to build for. We are not reselling a tool we don't use — you're buying access to the one we already depend on.
Delivered ready to work, not ready to clean
Excel and CSV, UTF-8 with the byte-order mark so Malayalam names open correctly on a Windows machine instead of turning into symbols. Phone numbers in full international format, ready for a CRM or a dialler.
What we won't pretend
Four things worth knowing before you pay.
We'd rather lose the sale here than have you find these out on day three.
Don't upload it as a custom audience
Google Customer Match and Meta Custom Audiences both require first-party data — contacts who gave their details to you. A bought list breaches those policies whoever sold it, and the penalty lands on your ad account, not ours. Use it to call, message, visit and plan targeting. Not to upload.
The data is open, so it isn't exclusive
Anyone can reach the same source. What you're paying for is that it arrives filtered, deduplicated, in Excel, with the licence handled — not for a monopoly on it. We'd rather say that than let you find out later.
Coverage varies by district
Dense towns are covered well; remote panchayats thin out. We run your area and tell you the real count before you pay a rupee. If it's too thin to be worth it, we'll say so.
Calling is fine. Bulk messaging has rules
Phoning a business on its own published number is normal commerce. Bulk SMS in India needs DLT registration, and WhatsApp template messages need opt-in — those are TRAI and Meta rules, and they apply to you whoever supplies your list. We'll tell you which channel actually fits your offer.
FAQ
Asked every time.
Where does the data actually come from?
The Overture Maps Foundation places dataset, which merges contributions from Meta, Microsoft and Foursquare's open POI release. It is published monthly under CDLA-Permissive-2.0 with an Apache-2.0 component, both of which allow commercial use and redistribution. It is not scraped from Google Maps, and we'll tell any client who asks for that exactly why we won't do it.
Can I use this for Facebook or Google ad targeting?
Not by uploading it as a Custom Audience or Customer Match list — both platforms require data the customer gave you directly, and a purchased list breaks that rule no matter who sold it. What it is genuinely good for is deciding where the ads should point: how many of a trade exist in a district, which taluks are dense enough to be worth a radius, where a competitor already saturates. Targeting arithmetic, not an upload.
I'm not selling websites. Is this still for me?
Yes — most buyers aren't. Distributors use it to find retailers who could stock them, field teams use the coordinates to build visit routes, agencies buy a district and work it across several clients, and plenty of people just want a phone list for a trade in their own town. Tell us what you sell and we'll tell you which filters to ask for.
How current is it?
A new release lands roughly every month and we rebuild against it. A Monthly Feed subscription gets the refresh plus a sheet showing which businesses are new since last month — the openings nobody has called yet.
Can I resell the list, or use it for a client?
Yes. That's the whole reason we built it on this source instead of the obvious one. Keep the attribution file with it and you're compliant. Agencies reselling to their own clients are a large part of who buys this.
How many of the rows have an email?
It varies by area and trade. In Kollam district, 8,108 of 19,531 businesses carry one. We report the exact number for your area before you buy, and you can order the list filtered to email-only if that's the channel you want.
Do you cover outside India?
Yes — the dataset is global. India alone holds 5.01 million businesses, 3.73 million with a phone number. We've run lists for UK and US cities on the same pipeline. Priced in dollars for clients outside India.
What if I want the calls made too?
Ask. We'll quote outreach as a separate engagement — you get replies and appointments rather than a spreadsheet, and the data never leaves our side.
Start
Tell us the area and what you sell.
We'll pick the filters, run the count, and send the real number back before you pay anything. Reply within a day, in English or Malayalam.
